Developing Interactive Demos for Major Tech Events
Working within a technology corporation, our creative hub identified the need to showcase emerging technologies at major industry events, including the Mobile World Congress. To effectively engage audiences and demonstrate complex innovations, we chose interactive demos as the ideal presentation format. These demos provided an immersive and hands-on experience, making cutting-edge concepts more accessible and engaging for attendees.
Our team was responsible for the entire end-to-end process of demo creation. This involved:
- Collaborating with engineers and developers to define the technological focus and requirements.
- Forming detailed project briefs that aligned with both technical feasibility and user engagement goals.
- Designing UI/UX interfaces and interactive layouts to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Implementing the demos using HTML5, CSS3, React JS, and Unity, ensuring high performance and interactivity.
The development team consisted of three to four members, and my role encompassed a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Client communication and requirement gathering.
- Brief formation and translating technical concepts into engaging experiences.
- Partial programming and contribution to frontend development.
- Oversight and review of design and development work to ensure quality.
- Overall team coordination, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery.
Through our efforts, we successfully created and presented six interactive demos showcasing various technological advancements. Notably, two of our projects were recognized as the best demos in the NTN (Non-Terrestrial Networks) sphere, highlighting the impact and innovation of our work.
By blending technical expertise, creative storytelling, and user-centered design, we delivered compelling experiences that brought future technologies to life on the global stage.
